Two 20th Anniversary exhibitions are NOW open!

Two wonderful exhibitions are open now as part of our 20th Anniversary edition!

In partnership with Forth, we present an incredible exhibition of photographs by Robert Szkolnicki (MB). The exhibition, titled: Visualizing A Sound Festival  captures beautiful and memorable moments from send + receive over the past 10 years. Szkolnicki has been tirelessly capturing all the many facets of the festival since he first attended in 2007. His work has become the core of our visual archive and we are so thrilled to present a stunning selection of his important and historic images on display at Forth.

The art concept for this years 20th edition festival was created by Manitoba painter Dee Barsy. Dee has developed a distinct and eye-catching style over the years that we felt would be a perfect match for this celebratory landmark year. For s+r she created the piece The Relationship Between My Foot and the Ground which was used as the foundation for our poster and program design. Dee also offered two other works; Natural Movement and Force to Ground, with which we incorporated into this year’s design. It is an honour to work with Dee and we are thrilled to present these three works on exhibition in partnership with Parlour Coffee.
