send + receive returns to Alleyways in the Exchange this summer, programming experimental music at 189 Bannatyne Avenue (behind Pantages Playhouse) on the second last Friday of each month. All shows are entirely free and fully outdoors!

Friday, June 20th at 7pm – Victoria-based noise duo Pet Retina and the solo drum barrage of i.o on their way home from a triumphant cross-Canada itinerary.

Friday, July 18th at 7pm – Dark electronic music and prepared guitars by musician and producer Tim Alexander, and a performance by Winipeg-based experimental duo Jay Owen.

Friday, August 22nd at 7pm – Scientific-utopian chamber punk from Jane Harms and Donna Allen, spanning the sonic filigree of jangle pop and the quotidian loft opera of Robert Ashley.
