In partnership with Winnipeg Film Group, we’re excited to present four screenings of FIRE MUSIC by Tom Surgal. This long-awaited documentary offers a vivid overview of that elusive music often known as free jazz. Combining incendiary archival footage and interviews with major figures in the development of the sound, FIRE MUSIC is a loving paean to some of the most viscerally intelligent music ever created.
