As a special part of our 20th edition festival this past Oct 4 – 7, 2018, send + receive commissioned two audio-visual collaborations by four emerging Winnipeg artists, paired together for first-time collaborations.

Lilac Place by Kristiane Church (visual) and Marie-France Hollier (sound) and Laminar pt.1 by Alyssa Bornn (visual) and Pat Klassen (sound) were premiered on Saturday, Oct 6 at the Asper Center Theatre to kick-off an incredible evening that also featured performances by Julia Reidy (AU/DE) and Keiji Haino (JP).
